A dazzling model of a two-sectioned pagoda replete with multiple roofs, balconies and accessories, its doors opening to reveal drawers with kiku knops. Intricately inlaid with gilt and silver, the shrine celebrates the artist’s devotion to nature and to the country.
Elaborate Komai signatur plaque. Height, 12″; width, 6″. Meiji Period.
